Lady Raider Tennis Puts Five on Academic All-Big 12 Team

LUBBOCK, Texas  – Five members of the Texas Tech women's tennis team were named to the first team of the Academic All-Big 12 squad released by the conference on Tuesday.

Senior Reagan Collins was one of nine members of the women's Academic All-Big 12 Team to earn a 4.0 grade point average. It marked her second career selection to the list.

Also earning recognition were Kennedy Bridgforth, Isa Di Laura, Nell Miller and Olivia Peet—each of whom earned the accolade for the first time in their careers.

Twenty-five honorees make up the men's team, while the women's team features 45. Combined, the first team includes 63 selections (22 men and 41 women) with the second team totaling seven (three men and four women).

First team members consist of those who have maintained a 3.20 or better GPA while the second team selections hold a 3.00 to 3.19 GPA.

To qualify, student-athletes must maintain a 3.00 GPA or higher either cumulative or the two previous semesters. Freshmen and transfers are not eligible in their first year of academic residence.
