In her first season at Texas Tech in 2019-20, Jo'Nah Johnson made tons of highlights on the court. Get to know the senior point guard off the hardwood in our first edition of Meet the Lady Raiders!

What made you want to come to Texas Tech?
I chose to come to Tech because from day one I felt like family. From the coaching staff to the players I felt the family vibe and I knew it was the place for me. Another reason is because the staff sets you up for success on and off the court for the present and the future.

What is your favorite sport outside of basketball?
My favorite sport outside of basketball is Track.

Do you have any hidden talents?
My hidden talent is I can pick up things with my toes.
If you could pick one superpower, what would it be and what would you use it for?
The super power I would choose is telepathy and I would use it to read whoever's mind I want to.

If you could pick one famous person to meet, who would it be?
If I could meet any famous person it would be A Boogie because that is my favorite rapper.
What is your go-to pregame music?
My pregame music is anything A Boogie then I switch it up to gospel music 10 minutes before we have to be on the court.

What is your biggest fear?
My biggest fear is bees.
What is your favorite meal?
My favorite meal is definitely chicken tenders and fries.

What was your favorite memory from this season?
My favorite memory from this season would be beating Iowa state at Iowa state.

What are you most looking forward to this upcoming season?
This season I'm looking forward to making some more noise in the Big 12 and continue to put Tech on the map.
