Meet the Lady Raiders: Lexi Gordon
July 06, 2020 | Women's Basketball
What made you want to come to Texas Tech?
I wanted to be a part of something special. The coaches had a vision for this program and felt that I could be a huge part of that vision and I believed in it. I felt needed and appreciated and I could not be more happy with my decision to be a Lady Raider.
Â
What is your favorite sport outside of basketball?
My favorite sport to watch I think is gymnastics. I think it is so cool to see the girls do so many skills and make it look effortless.
Â
If you could pick one superpower, what would it be and what would you use it for?
To make everybody happy. I would use my power to make sure each person I encounter has a better day just because I came in contact with them.
Â
If you could pick one famous person to meet, who would it be?
LEBRON, Michael Jackson and Zendaya.. why just one?
Â
What is your go-to pregame music?
My pregame music is so all over the place. I love country, I love gospel, I love virtually everything.
Â
What is your biggest fear?
My biggest fear is not finding my purpose in life.
Â
What is your favorite meal?
I love ALL food. Not a picky one over here.
Â
Dogs or cats?
DOGS all the way.
Â
What was your favorite memory from this season?
I think my favorite memory was sweeping TCU. I always had so much fun playing against them, and being able to complete the sweep at home in front of my family and our friends while also having my personal best game of the season was an unbelievable feeling.
Â
What are you most looking forward to this upcoming season?
Building off of last season, and using it as momentum into this next year. It is my last go-around so I am super excited for everyone to see what I am personally adding to my game and what our team accomplishes. We have just scratched the surface of where we want to be and I am super excited to get back at it with all my people.
