USTFCCCA Honors Both Teams, 18 Individuals with Academic Awards

Red Raiders add more academic awards from USTFCCCA.

NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced Thursday its All-Academic Teams. The list included 18 individual Red Raiders – 12 women and six men. In addition, both the men's and women's teams were recognized as a whole.

Both teams, plus 1??8?? individual Red Raiders.

We were good in the classroom, and the @USTFCCCA academic team awards were good to us in return.

Individual recognition requires a minimum grade-point average of 3.25 while also finishing the season ranked in the top-96 in championship events or the top-48 in relays. Tech earned team recognition for its men's and women's programs by achieving a 3.0 GPA by those listed on their USTFCCCA Squad Lists.
