Red Raiders Add Depth to Talented Roster
LUBBOCK, Texas – For the first time in program history, Texas Tech men's tennis has received a national ranking for their 2021 recruiting class by Tennis Recruiting Network. With a recruiting class ranking of No. 11, Texas Tech will welcome three highly touted freshmen to Lubbock in the fall of 2021.
"Coach Breler has come in and done a great job of immersing himself in the college recruiting scene. He is a true Red Raider and we both know the success that can come for players that choose to join our tennis program here. The future is bright for Texas Tech tennis." head coach Danny Whitehead said. Â "I'm excited to get our recruits on campus next year and work with them. I think they will all make a big impact in their 4 years here. The Texas Tech tennis community will enjoy watching these guys compete."
Â
The Tennis Recruiting Network voting panelists include national & international tournament directors, reporters and ranking chairmen from across the globe. The No. 11 ranking puts the Red Raiders at the top of the Big 12 Conference and will to add roster depth to what is expect to be an already talented lineup for Coach Whitehead and Coach Breler.Â
