Texas Tech Soccer Lands 13 on Academic All-Big 12 List

First Team members consist of student-athletes who have maintained a 3.20 or better
LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech soccer team landed 13 Red Raiders on the Academic All-Big 12 Team, the league office announced Wednesday afternoon.
Out of the 132 honorees, the First Team was comprised of 125 selections, while seven made up the Second Team. The 13 selections makes it 10-straight years head coach Tom Stone's program has had its Academic All-Big 12 selections reach double digits. In his time at Tech, Stone has seen 176 Red Raiders make teams.
First Team members consist of student-athletes who have maintained a 3.20 or better GPA while the Second Team selections hold a 3.00 to 3.19 GPA. In addition to holding a GPA in one of the above ranges, a student-athlete must have competed in at least 20 percent of the team's contests throughout the season to be eligible, or in the case of seniors, have done so over the last two years.
