McKinney is the first Lady Raider honored this season with a weekly award
LUBBOCK, Texas – Rhyle McKinney was named the Big 12 Freshman of the Week, the league announced Monday afternoon.

McKinney helped lead the Lady Raiders to a 2-0 week with victories over Weber State and Lamar. During the two-game stretch, the Argyle High School product averaged 26.5 minutes on the floor, scoring 17.5 PPG. Against Weber State, McKinney dropped a game and career-high 21 points.

She currently leads the Lady Raiders in scoring (16.7) and is shooting 46 percent from the floor through three games off the bench.

The Lady Raiders close out their four-game homestand tonight taking on Texas State at 7 p.m. inside the United Super Markets Arena.
