Big 12 announces conference softball schedule

The Red Raiders host Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas at Rocky Johnson Field during the 2022 conference slate.
IRVING, Texas – The Big 12 Conference office has announced the conference slate for the 2022 spring season featuring three home and three away series.
Texas Tech's conference schedule begins on the road in Stillwater on March 25-27 as the Red Raiders take on the 2021 Women's College World Series participants Oklahoma State.
The Red Raiders return home for back-to-back weekends to host Kansas April 1-3 before welcoming the defending national champion Oklahoma Sooners on April 8-10.
Tech goes back on the road April 14-16 to face Iowa State in Ames. The series will take place Thursday through Saturday due to Easter weekend.
The Red Raiders make a trip to Waco on April 22-24 for a tilt against Baylor before returning to Lubbock to host the Texas Longhorns April 29- May 1 for the final home series of the season.
Tech will have an open week for the final weekend of conference play for the second straight season on May 6-8 before the Big 12 Championship in Oklahoma City May 13-14.
Last season the Red Raiders went 3-15 in Big 12 play, earning the final spot in the Big 12 Championship where Tech had a strong outing, beating Baylor and 10th-ranked Texas to take third place in the tournament. The Red Raiders finished the season winning three of their final four games.
