Blackburn logged nearly 1,600 minutes her freshman season
LUBBOCK, Texas – Macy Blackburn was named to the All-Freshman Second Team by TopDrawerSoccer.com following a stellar first season as a Red Raider.
Out of Texas Tech's 20 games this past season, Blackburn started all 19 she played in and led the Red Raiders in assists with nine – 10th highest in the nation. The defender tallied her first collegiate goal against Abilene Christian on Aug. 29, her lone goal of the season.
It's the third post-season honor for the Keller, Texas native as she was named a Big 12 All-Freshman and a Midwest All-Region member by the United Soccer Coaches organization.
