Sophomore outside hitter Reagan Cooper earns her first Big 12 weekly award.
LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech volleyball's Reagan Cooper has been named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week following a career-best performance against Houston, the conference announced Wednesday.
Cooper, a sophomore outside hitter from Rowlett, Texas, takes home her first Big 12 weekly award and the first for the Red Raiders this season.
The Washington State transfer led the Red Raiders offensively in Thursday's match with a career-high 11 kills on a .435 hitting clip. She then bested her career-high with 15 kills in Friday's five-set win over the Cougars.
Cooper averaged 3.25 kills per set and a .350 hitting clip over two matches, while adding seven blocks defensively as the Red Raiders split the series match up. She sits fifth on the squad with 81 kills and fourth in kills per set (2.08).
