Scheduled Midweek with UNM Moved to Wednesday

Red Raiders and Lobos will now meet on Wednesday, April 28, at 6:30 p.m.
LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech baseball's upcoming midweek game against New Mexico has been moved back a day and is now set for Wednesday, April 28, at 6:30 p.m., from Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park.

The game, originally scheduled for Tuesday, April 27, at 6:30 p.m., was moved to accommodate amended travel plans for New Mexico, which has had its season on pause since April 6 due to a positive COVID-19 test and the resulting contact tracing.

The Lobos (8-14) have had their last two weekend series canceled due to COVID-19 and are looking to play for the first time since April 3 this weekend when they host UNLV for three games Saturday and Sunday.

Game tickets for the April 27 game will be valid for the rescheduled April 28 matchup. Fans can contact the Texas Tech Ticket Office at (806) 742-8324 with additional questions.

Prior to the midweek matchup, the Red Raiders (26-8; 7-5) host Baylor (24-12; 5-7) for a three-game Big 12 series this weekend at Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park.
