Red Raiders at No. 9 in Bushnell/Golfweek Coaches Poll

LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech remained at No. 9 in the Bushnell/Golfweek Coaches Poll after two fall tournaments. The Red Raiders are coming off a fourth-place finish at the Maridoe Collegiate Invitational this week and will return to competition at the Blessings Collegiate on Oct. 4-6 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Oklahoma State moved up to No. 1 in the poll but claiming six first-place votes which bumped them up one spot from the preseason ranking. Oklahoma is five spots to second after winning the Maridoe Collegiate this week, while preseason No. 1 Pepperdine dropped to third and received three first-place votes. Fourth-ranked Texas (1) and No. 5 Arizona State (2) earned the remaining first-place votes.

North Carolina fell two spots to sixth while Clemson, Georgia Tech, Texas Tech, and Vanderbilt rounded out the top 10.

Three team—NC State, Kansas, and LSU—debuted in the ranking. The Wolfpack clocked in at No. 23 while the Jayhawks and Tigers tied at No. 24. Arizona, North Florida and SMU fell out of the top 25.
