Texas Tech Women’s Tennis Heads to California for San Diego Invite

The six-team field includes host San Diego, Kansas, Stanford, Ole Miss, FSU and Tech
LUBBOCK, Texas -- The Texas Tech women's tennis programs heads to sunny Southern California to open its 2022 spring campaign at the Torero Tennis Classic hosted by the University of San Diego at the Skip and Cindy Hogan Tennis Center.
The three-day tournament begins on Friday (Jan. 14) and runs through Sunday (Jan. 16), and will feature Tech, Big 12 foe Kansas, No. 15 Florida State, No. 17 Stanford, Ole Miss and host San Diego.
In addition to the two nationally-ranked opponents, the tournament will also feature seven players ranked inside the ITA Top-100.
Draws for Friday's and Sunday's action will be released at 11 a.m. (CT)/9 a.m. (PT), while Saturday's draw will be released at 12:15 p.m. (CT)/10:15 a.m.
UP NEXT:
Tech returns to action for the home opener next Friday (Jan. 21) against UTEP and ACU. The UTEP match is set to begin at 10 a.m. with the ACU match scheduled for a 2 p.m. start.
