The Lady Raiders returned to action after a 12-day hiatus on Sunday against Oklahoma. The strong quarter allowed Tech to cut the once 14 point OU lead to just five at the half (46-41). Oklahoma opened the third quarter on 19-2 run to take a game-high 68-43 lead. Tech would answer closing the period on a 19-4 run to cut the OU lead to just 72-62 at the end of three quarters. In the fourth, Oklahoma used a 9-2 run to put the game out of reach for good. In the end, Tech was able to pull to within six by scoring 19 points over the final three minutes, but the deficit was too large to overcome for the Lady Raiders. In defeat, Taylah Thomas scored 25 points on 10-of-12 shooting while Vivian Gray added 21 points. The Lady Raiders shot 50 percent from the floor and scored a season-high 91 points and dished out a season-best 22 assists.

UT also features one of the top freshman in the country in Rori Harmon. Ranked as the No. 10 overall prospect in the Class of 2021 according to ESPNW, Harmon is averaging 11.6 points and 4.7 rebounds per game.
