Texas Tech leads the league Academic All-Big 12 honorees

The Red Raiders had 17 first team honorees

IRVING, Texas – Texas Tech led all Big 12 soccer programs with 17 Academic All-Big 12 selections, the league office announced Tuesday.

All 17 of the Red Raiders Academic All-Big 12 selections were named members of the first team. First team members consisted of anyone who held a 3.20 GPA or higher.

Of the 17 selections, five Red Raiders finished with a perfect 4.0 GPA – Elise Anderson, Hailey Palmer, Cassie Taylor, Charlotte Teeter and Jaycee Willingham.

Texas Tech had led all Big 12 soccer programs in honorees in four of the last five seasons,

The 17 selections mark the 11^th straight year head coach Tom Stone's program has had its Academic All-Big 12 selections reach double digits. In his time at Tech, Stone has seen 189 Red Raiders make a team.
