LUBBOCK, Texas – Hannah Anderson and Ashleigh Williams continue to bring in honors as the pair were both named to a United Soccer Coaches' All-Region team, the organization announced last Monday.
Anderson was named to the All-Midwest Second Team, marking the second time in her career that she was honored by the organization. She was named to the All-Midwest Third team back in 2019.
The defender earned All-Big 12 First Team honors this season after logging over 1,600 minutes, including the full 90 minutes in all but two matches, on the Red Raider backline. Anderson helped lead a defensive effort that held four conference opponents to three or fewer shots on goal.
Williams was named to the All-Midwest Third Team, earning her first career nod from United Soccer Coaches.
The forward led the Big 12 with six goals inside league action and earned All-Big 12 Second Team honors. Her nine goals and 18 points on the season paced the way for Tech.
The Allen, Texas native scored a goal in four straight matches (Oklahoma, Iowa State, Kansas State and Kansas) and tallied multi-goal matches against both Iowa State and Kansas.
