All-American Vivian Gray Tabbed Big 12 Player of the Week

Gray earned the award for the fourth time in her career
IRVING, Texas – For the first time this season, and for the fourth time in her career, senior All-American Vivian Gray has been named Big 12 Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday.
Gray averaged 29.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.5 steals in the Lady Raiders' two games last week. On Wednesday, Gray scored 35 points, as the Argyle native surpassed 2,000 points for her D-I career. The big night propelled the Lady Raiders to a big 97-87 victory over then ranked No. 15 Oklahoma, their third top-25 victory of the season.
On Saturday, Gray reached the 20-point mark for the fifth consecutive game, when she scored 23 points against Kansas.
For the week, Gray shot 40.8 percent from the field, 57.1 percent from 3-point range and made 13-of-18 from the line. Gray is currently the only player in the country to average at least 20 points, 2 assists, 2 steals and 1 block per game.
The Lady Raiders return to action when Wednesday when the West Virginia Mountaineers visit United Supermarkets Arena. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
