Three Lady Raiders earn Academic All-Big 12

Khadija Faye, Bryn Gerlich and Vivian Gray were all selected to the first team
IRVING, Texas – Forward Khadija Faye, guard Bryn Gerlich and forward Vivian Gray all were named to the 2022 Academic All-Big 12 Women's Basketball Team Thursday. Faye, Gerlich and Gray were all first team selections.
First team honorees were selected for maintaining a 3.20 or better GPA. In order to qualify, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or must have held a 3.0 or better for two consecutive semesters. All honorees must have participated in 20 percent of their team's scheduled contests.
The honor is the second academic award for Gray this month, as the Argyle native was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District team and will be up for CoSIDA Academic All-America honors for the second consecutive year.
Texas Tech returns to action on Saturday when they travel to No. 9 Iowa State. Tip-off from Ames is set for 1 p.m.
