Vivian Gray named CoSIDA Academic All-American

Gray earned her third Academic All-America selection
AUSTIN – For the third time in her career, senior Vivian Gray has been selected as an CoSIDA Academic All-American, the organization announced Wednesday morning.
A native of Argyle, Gray was a 2020-21 CoSIDA First Team selection and was a third team selection back in 2019-20.
Gray was one of 15 student-athletes in all of Division I to be honored, and is currently perusing her Master of Business Administration.
The Four-Time First Team All-Big 12 selection averaged 20.2 points and 5.3 rebounds this season. Gray led the Lady Raider roster in six different categories including points (445), steals (45) and blocks (25).
With her selection this season, the Lady Raider program has now placed a student-athlete on the final CoSIDA Academic All-America team for the fifth consecutive season. Former Lady Raider Brittany Brewer was an All-America selection back in 2019 and 2020.
Five of the 16 members of the Academic All-America Division I team boast a perfect 4.0 GPA, and the average GPA of the honorees was 3.87.
