Gray Tabbed First-Team All-Big 12 Selection

The Texan became the fourth four-time First Team All-Big 12 selection in conference history
IRVING, Texas – Senior All-American Vivian Gray was selected to the All-Big 12 First Team, the Big 12 announced Monday afternoon.
With her selection this season, Gray became just the fourth player in conference history to be a four-time All-Big 12 selection joining Courtney Paris (Oklahoma, 06-09), Brittney Griner (2009-2013) and Oddsey Simms (2010-14).
So far this season, Gray is averaging 20.2 points and 5.2 rebounds a game. The combo-guard also has 51 assists, a team-best 42 steals and 23 blocked shots.
Gray has 13 games with 20 or more points and has three 30-point games, including a 35-point performance at Oklahoma. In that game, Gray eclipsed 2,000 points for her D-I career.
A native of Arygle, Gray was a two-time First Team All-Big 12 selection at Oklahoma State, before transferring to Tech ahead of the 2020-21 season.
Gray is the 11th player in Lady Raider history to earn First Team All-Big 12 honors joining the likes of Brittney Brewer, Alicia Thompson and PInette Pierson. The senior is also just one of three Lady Raiders to earn multiple First
Team All-Big 12 honors joining Erin Grant and Alicia Thompson.
The Lady Raiders open the Phillips 66 Big 12 Conference Tournament on Thursday afternoon against Oklahoma State. Tip-off from Municipal Coliseum is set for 5:30 p.m.
