Red Raiders remain at No. 8 in coaches poll

LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech remained at No. 8 in the Bushnell/Golfweek DI Coaches Poll which was announced on Friday by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
The Red Raiders are also now at No. 6 in Golfstat rankings and No. 7 Golfweek ratings. Tech returns next weekend at the Aggie Invitational which is scheduled for April 9-10 at the Traditions Club in Bryan/College Station. The team is coming off a trip to Florida where Ludvig Aberg finished in third place at 11-under-par at the Valspar Collegiate Invitational while the Red Raiders tied for eighth at the two-day, 54-hole tournament at the Floridian Golf Club. Aberg is currently competing in the PGA Valero Texas Open in San Antonio.
Oklahoma remains as the top-ranked team in the Bushnell/Golfweek DI Coaches Poll, followed by Oklahoma State, Vanderbilt, Arizona State and Pepperdine to round out the top-5. The Big 12 is also represented by No. 12 Texas and No. 17 Kansas in this week's poll. Texas A&M which is hosting the Aggie Invitational next week is at No. 22.
The Red Raiders will play their final regular-season event at the Thunderbird Collegiate on April 15-16 in Phoenix leading into the Big 12 Championship in Trinity, Texas from April 25-27 before the NCAA Tournament.
