Tech secures 1-0 win over New Mexico

The Red Raiders will play one more spring game
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The Texas Tech soccer team bumped its spring record to 3-0 with a 1-0 road victory over New Mexico Saturday afternoon.
Tech was able to secure a corner kick opportunity just past the 35th minute. From there, Jillian Martinez sent it into the box, finding a leaping Hannah Anderson, who headed home the eventual game winner. It was her first goal of the spring and Martinez' first assist.
The Red Raiders played three 30-minute halves. Madison White was the keeper for the first two halves and the final 15 minutes of the final half. Meanwhile, Madison Martin saw the first 15 minutes of the final half.
Tech has shutout each opponent this spring, collecting a pair of 2-0 wins over ACU and Houston. Tech will face West Texas A&M as its final spring match. That date and location of the game is TBD.
