Red Raiders move up in latest top 25 poll

The women are back in the top 3 since the first week of the season
LUBBOCK, Texas – The women's Texas Tech track and field team moved up three spots while the men's side leaped two, in the latest installment of the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) poll released Monday afternoon.
The women enter this week ranked No. 3 and are back in the top 2 since week one of the outdoor season in which Tech opened the slate No. 2. Meanwhile, the men will be No. 7
Texas Tech hosted the Big 12 Championships this past weekend as the women placed second with 162 points, while the men finished in third with 118 points. For the women, it was the most points they've ever scored in a Big 12 outdoor meet.
The Red Raiders are off this week and will be back in action next week at the NCAA West Regionals hosted by Arkansas.
