Roswell is the first female since Ruth Usoro to debut on the list
NEW ORLEANS, La. – Demisha Roswell made her season debut on The Bowerman Watchlist, while Moad Zahafi kept his place for the fourth time, the organization announced Tuesday afternoon.
"It's a tremendous honor for Demisha making her debut on The Bowerman List," head coach Wes Kittley said. "She's been one of the best hurdlers in the country this year and we're all looking forward to seeing her compete this week in the NCAA Championships."
Roswell won her first Big 12 title last month in the 100 hurdles with a blistering time of 12.44, which sits No. 2 in the world. It's also the third-fastest time in Jamaican history.
Zahafi first made his debut on April 21 and has been on each update since. He continues to hold the No. 1 800m time this season at 1:43.69 and is the top seed entering the NCAA Championships after clocking in at 1:44.65 at the west regionals.
