Texas Tech Update on Bryce Ramirez

Ramirez remained in Raleigh overnight after suffering a lower leg injury during Saturday night’s contest at N.C. State
LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech junior linebacker Bryce Ramirez remained in the Raleigh area overnight to receive further medical attention after suffering a left lower leg fracture in the first half at N.C. State. Texas Tech sports medicine staff will remain with Ramirez at Wake Medical Center until he is able to safely travel and return to Lubbock.

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 19 UPDATE
Texas Tech junior linebacker Bryce Ramirez underwent a second successful surgery on his lower left leg earlier today. He will remain in Raleigh for a few additional days with an expected return to Lubbock by the end of the week. In response to the generous support regarding how to support Bryce, Texas Tech is providing Bryce and his family all expenses related to this injury, their time in Raleigh and travel as permitted by NCAA rules.
