The Red Raiders are the top-ranked Big 12 school in the Golfweek rankings
LUBBOCK, Texas – Fresh off a trip to the Quarterfinals of the 2022 NCAA Tournament, the Texas Tech men's golf program has debuted at No. 6 overall in first set of Golfweek rankings.
Led by 2022 Ben Hogan Award selection and First Team All-American Ludvig Aberg and PING Honorable Mention All-America selection Baard Skogen, the Red Raiders open their 2022-23 season on Wednesday when they compete at Vanderbilt's Frederica Open hosted by the Frederica Golf Club in Georgia.
The field this week includes No. 1 Vanderbilt, No. 9 Oklahoma, No. 15 Arkansas and No. 19 Georgia.
Texas Tech tees off for the first of 36 holes on Wednesday morning at 6:30 a.m.
