Correa, Dugan and Rhodes pick up CSC Academic All-District Honors

LUBBOCK, Texas – The Red Raiders saw a trio of student-athletes earn College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Honors as the team was announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Maddie Correa, Caitlin Dugan and Reese Rhodes all picked up the honor for the second time in their career as Correa and Rhodes were awarded this honor last year and Dugan earning her first honor in 2021. The Red Raiders have now had 13 student-athletes win the award 18 times.
To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must have started in either 90 percent of sets or started 66 percent of matches while maintaining at least a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher.
Correa is coming off her best season as a Red Raider. She eclipsed 900 career digs while recording a team-leading 398 digs and adding on 96 assists, both of which mark single-season highs for her.
Both Dugan and Rhodes finished their Red Raider careers this season. Dugan etched her name in the program's record book for having the seventh-most kills (1,050) and sixth-most attacks (3,034) by any Red Raider over the course of a career.
Rhodes also reached a career milestone, eclipsing 2,000 career assists thanks to a team-high 736 this season. Rhodes also added 221 digs and a team-high 18 serving aces.
