Jack Wall Wins Genesis Intercollegiate

The senior earned $50,000 Tech’s golf program and earns an amateur exemption to this week’s Genesis Open
PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif -- Powered by a booming drive of over 350 yards and a clutch eagle putt from 25-feet, Texas Tech senior Jack Wall won the Genesis Intercollegiate on Monday at Riviera Country Club.

After finishing the 18 holes tied with Alex Goff, Wall won the second playoff hole to secure an amateur exemption to this week's PGA TOUR Genesis Invitational hosted by Tiger Woods and the Tiger Woods Foundation. With the win, Wall also earns a $50,000 donation for the Texas Tech men's golf program.

The 2023 Genesis Invitational begins on Thursday (Feb. 16) and runs through Sunday (Feb. 19). Play begins at 8:30 a.m. (CT) on both Thursday and Friday with the Saturday's third round and Sunday's final round scheduled for 10 a.m. (CT) starts.

This week's Genesis Invitational is seventh event of the 2023 PGA TOUR calendar and includes 19 of the top-20 players in the Official World Golf Rankings. The event also features the return of 15-time major champion Tiger Woods.

The opening two rounds of the Genesis Invitational will appear on ESPN+ (8:30-3 p.m.) with the afternoon portion (3-7 p.m.) appearing live on Golf Channel. For the weekend, ESPN+ will live stream from 11-Noon (CT) with Golf Channel handling Noon-2 p.m. (CT). At 2 p.m. (CT) each day CBS picks up live coverage.
