WAILEA, HI – The Texas Tech men's golf program was tied for the lead through three holes, before the Amer Ari hosted by the University of Hawaii at Hilo was canceled due to high winds.

Needing a 'plan B' option, the Red Raiders and UNC have agreed to play 18 holes of match play tomorrow (Noon CT/8 a.m. local).

Tech and UNC will compete in six head-to-head matches in a matchup between Golf Stats No. 3 team (Texas Tech) and their No. 4 team (UNC) at the original site of this weeks Amer Ari: Hapuna Golf Club.

Also set to participate in the one-day match play is No. 12 Georgia Tech and No. 18 Texas.

UP NEXT:
The Red Raiders return to action on Feb. 20 for The Prestige Tournament hosted by Stanford at PGA Tour West. The three-day event begins Feb. 20 and runs through the 22nd
