The No. 1 player in the PGATOUR U Rankings tees off at 12:30 (CT) Thursday and 7:44 (CT) Friday

ORLANDO – Texas Tech senior Ludvig Aberg will tee it up on at the PGA TOURs Arnold Palmer Invitational this week.

One of the premiere non-major championships of the calendar, this weeks Arnold Palmer Invitational features one of the strongest and deepest fields of the 2023 calendar thus far.

In total, 44 of the top-50 players in the OWGR will compete at Bay Hill this week.

This week's Arnold Palmer Invitational is one of two PGA TOUR events Aberg has been granted an exception to. The Swede will also play at the Valspar Championship in two week.

Aberg gets his weekend started on Thursday afternoon at 12:30 p.m. (CT) with the opening round before returning to Bay Hill at 7:44 a.m. on Friday.

The top-60 players (including ties) will advance to the final two round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational on Saturday and Sunday.

ESPN+ will have live coverage of the opening round of action until 1 p.m. when the coverage switches over to Golf Channel.
