In his first season as a Red Raider, Dean proved to be more than just an immediate impact. Dean also went on to place third in the 60m, In total he racked up 16 points over the two day meet, coming away with the top hurdles time in the Big 12 and No. 2 mark in the NCAA.
Andrews, the 19-year-old true freshman placed second in the 60m hurdles, equaling his season and personal best of 7.59. He leads all freshman in the country when it comes to the event and is the only true freshman inside the top-16 (No. 4).
