Texas Tech announces dates for RRC Wreck 'Em Tour

The 2023 Red Raider Club Wreck ‘Em Tour will feature 10 stops across Texas this spring and summer
LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech will kick off the 2023 Red Raider Club Wreck 'Em Tour at home in Lubbock as part of 10 stops this spring and summer featuring Director of Athletics Kirby Hocutt, head football coach Joey McGuire and new head men's basketball coach Grant McCasland.
McGuire will appear at all 10 stops on the Wreck 'Em Tour, which begins May 11 at Little Woodrow's in Lubbock. Hocutt and McCasland, meanwhile, are expected to attend several events throughout the state to greet Red Raider fans and address the state of both the athletics department and men's basketball program. A full list of attendees will be announced closer to each event.
"We look forward to this tour each and every year where we can gather among Red Raiders and celebrate the success of our athletics programs," Director of Athletics Kirby Hocutt said. "We firmly believe there isn't a better time to be a Red Raider thanks to the success of our football program in Coach McGuire's first year and the trajectory Coach McCasland will take our basketball program. We can't wait to share more about the future of Texas Tech Athletics this summer and would encourage all our loyal Red Raider Club members and fans to attend."
Every event on the tour schedule will offer free admission to Red Raider Club members, which will include complementary food and beverage. Admission is $50 for non-members to attend, which includes not only all food and beverage associated with the event but also membership into the Red Raider Club for one year.
In addition to hearing from not only McGuire, McCasland and Hocutt and more, Texas Tech will have silent auction items available for bidding and special season ticket deals to only those in attendance. Silent auction items include autograph helmets, various fan experiences and Texas Tech Yeti merchandise.
Red Raider Club members are the backbone of Texas Tech Athletics, providing key financial support for not only student-athlete scholarships but also vital areas that allow each program to compete at the highest levels. Gifts to the Red Raider Club are utilized for areas such as scholarship and academic support, nutrition, leadership development and cost of attendance, among others.
