LUBBOCK, Texas – Highlighted by the annual Big 12 Match Play and a trip to the Ben Hogan, the Texas Tech men's golf program and coach Greg Sands announced the 2023 Red Raiders fall schedule.
Tech will compete four times during the fall season beginning with the Sahalee Players Championship hosted by the University of Washington in Sammamish, Wash. (Sept. 9-10).
Following a short hiatus, the Red Raiders will make the five-hour trip to Albuquerque where the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate (Sept. 25-26) hosted by the University of New Mexico awaits.
The month of October kicks off in earnest for the Red Raiders at the illustrious Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational hosted by TCU (Oct. 2-3).
Tech's fourth and final event awaits Tech on Oct. 9-11 when the Big 12 Match Play comes. Tech will enter the event as the defending champion after downing Oklahoma for the Big 12 Match Play crown a season ago.
More details regarding Tech's spring slate will be released in the future.
Fresh off a third straight NCAA Championship appearance, coach Sands returns a veteran squad that includes four members of the Red Raiders regional and championship lineup from a year ago and includes the additions of North Texas transfer Vincente Marzilio and freshmen Ben Gregg and Tim Widemeyer.
