Tech Soccer announces full promotional schedule

The 10-match home slate kicks off Sunday at 7 p.m.
LUBBOCK, Texas – Ahead of the 2023 home opener on Sunday night against New Mexico State, Texas Tech Athletics has announced the full promotional schedule.
The promotional calendar gets going as mentioned during Sunday's home opener with a pop socket giveaway to the first 250 fans.
Tech's next home match (Aug. 24) against Ball State will be military appreciation night and any active of former military personnel can reserve one complimentary ticket with proof of a military ID.
Next Sunday's match (Aug. 27) against Utah State will also feature a strong giveaway, as the first 250 fans will receive a "Wreck Em" headband.
Thursday, Aug. 31 brings yet another home match at the John Walker Soccer complex, as the first 200 fans for the Red Out match against North Texas will receive color changing cups.
The first Sunday afternoon match arrives on Sept. 3, as Tech will host Abilene Christian for a 1 p.m. match. The first 200 fans will receive a mini foam soccer ball and kids 12 and under can wear their 2023 vacation bible school t-shirt to unlock a $2 ticket offer.
The first Big 12 home match of the 2023 season on Sept. 14 will feature a "Surfs Up, Guns Up" promotion as the first 150 fans will receive a Tech-branded beach tote. The 7 p.m. contest will also be camper night, as campers can wear their 2023 Texas Tech soccer camp tee-shirt to receive free admission.
After a two-week break in the home slate, Tech will return home on Sept. 28 for a 7 p.m. match against Oklahoma. The match will carry a "Retro Raider" theme as the first 100 fans will receive a mini gumball machine.
The month of October will feature three different Sunday afternoon matches. The contest against new Big 12 foe Cincinnati on Oct. 1 will be a big day as it will be the annual Tech knit scarf giveaway presented by the Red Raider Club, and will also be the pups in the park. Interested fans can email Nicole Payne (Nicole.Payne@ttu.edu) for the waiver.
Sunday afternoon Oct. 8 will also be a massive match, as rival TCU will visit the Walker for a 1 p.m. match. As part of tie-dyed cacti day, the first 200 fans will receive a special red tie-dye tee shirt.
The final home match of the season arrives on Oct. 15 and will serve as the annual senior day celebration. The first 200 fans will receive a senior mini head while Tech staff and faculty can purchase one $4 ticket for the match.
