Calum Scott selected to Walker Cup roster

The Scottish-born player will represent Team Great Britain and Ireland

LUBBOCK, Texas -- Fresh off a strong true sophomore campaign and a run to the Round of the 32 of the US Amateur Championship, Tech rising junior Calum Scott was one 10 players selected to represent Team Great Britain and Ireland at the 2023 Walker Cup hosted by historic St Andrews.

The oldest and most iconic course in the world, St. Andrews will play host to the Walker Cup for the first time since 1975. The 2023 will also mark the centennial anniversary of the first time the Walker Cup was hosted at the home of golf.

Scott will be joined on the team by James Ashfield, Jack Bigham, Barclay Brown, John Gough, Connor Graham, Alex Maguire, Matthew McClean, Liam Nolan and Mark Power.

The two-day event begins on Sept. 2 and will run through Sept. 3.

GB&I will be seeking to win the Walker Cup for the first time since 2015.
