
Calum Scott, Team GB&I kick off Walker Cup Saturday

The Scottish-born Scott will participate in the 49th edition
SAINT ANDREWS, U.K. – Texas Tech junior Calum Scott and the remainder of the Team Great Britain & Ireland squad opens play at the 49th edition of The Walker Cup Saturday morning at the Birthplace of Golf, Saint Andrews Golf Club.

On the centennial anniversary of the first playing of the Walker Cup at St. Andrew's, Scott and the remainder of Team GB&I will look to win the Walker Cup for the first time since 2015 when GBI&I won 16.5-9.5 at Royal Lytham & St. Annes.

The event begins on Saturday morning at 2:30 a.m. (CT) with the four, four-ball matches. The afternoon session on Saturday will feature eight head-to-head matches beginning at around 7:45 a.m. (CT).

On Sunday, the action begins at 2 a.m. (CT) with another four, four-ball matches before the scene turns to the traditional 10-head-to-head singles matches.

Fans can catch all of the action live on Golf Channel and Peacock. Live coverage will be available from 7:30 a.m. (CT) to 2 p.m. (CT) on Saturday and 7-1 p.m. (CT) on Sunday.
