Three Lady Raider alumnae to play overseas

Bre’Amber Scott, Brittany Brewer and Ella Tofaeono will all play in various leagues
LUBBOCK, Texas – A trio of Lady Raider alumna will play professional basketball this season highlighted by 2023 Texas Tech graduates Bre'Amber Scott and Ella Tofaeono.

Fresh off a strong performance in the NBL down in her native Australia, Tofaeono will next lace them up for JCU Townsville Fire of the WNBL. In her first professional stint with Geelong United, Tofaeono averaged 12.2 points and 11.2 rebounds per game, shooting 50.2 percent from the floor.

The WNBL season starts on this Monday (Sept. 12).

Tech's second professional signee, Scott, has signed with CB Al Qazeres of the Spain Liga Women. Al-Qazeres begins its season on Sept. 30 against Estepona.

The third and final international player this fall will be former AP All-American Brittany Brewer. The native of Abilene will suit up for Araski AES of the Spanish LF Endesa League. Brewer and the Araski squad will open the season on Sept. 23 against Baxi Ferrol.
