Red Raiders in the NFL | Regular Season Week 16, Dec. 19-23
LUBBOCK, Texas – The NFL season is nearing its end to the regular season and former Red Raiders in the NFL are in the thick of helping push their respective teams to the postseason, a group led by none other than Kansas City Chiefs signal caller Patrick Mahomes II. Despite an ankle injury, Mahomes led the Chiefs to its 14th win this season and remain atop the AFC standings. The Chiefs' Week 17 game will be featured on Christmas Day, exclusively on Netflix, versus the Steelers at Noon.

ARIZONA CARDINALS vs. Carolina Panthers (L, 36-30 OT)
S Dadrion Taylor-Demerson (2019-23): Taylor-Demerson finished the game with three tackles on defense (one solo) and added one more on special teams. He played a total of 35 snaps with 25 of them coming on special teams.
DL Broderick Washington Jr. (2016-19): Washington Jr. registered his fifth start of the year in the home win over AFC North rival Pittsburgh on Saturday night. He accounted for 21 snaps on defense and added three more on special teams.
OL Terence Steele (2016-19): Steele made his 15th-straight start of the season, playing all 60 offensive snaps in the Cowboys' Sunday Night Football home win over Tampa Bay.
DE Myles Cole (2022-23): Cole played in his sixth game of the season. He registered two solo tackles during the third quarter on the same drive, including one for a loss of one. He played a total of 24 snaps for the defense.
QB Patrick Mahomes II (2014-16): Battling an ankle injury on a short week, Mahomes powered the Chiefs to a Saturday victory over the Texans to maintain its position for the No. 1 seed in the AFC with two weeks left in the season.
DE Tyree Wilson (2020-22): Wilson finished the game with one solo tackle along with two quarterback hits in the home win over the Jaguars.
LB Jordyn Brooks (2016-19): Brooks led Miami with seven tackles (four solo) to go along with one sack (loss of six) in the home win over the 49ers. Brooks has started each game for Miami this season and leads the team in tackles with 128 – which is 44 more than the next Dolphin.
LB Sam Eguavoen (2011-14): Eguavoen contributed to the special teams unit on Sunday. He recorded 12 snaps but no statistics.
DB Tyler Owens (2022-23): Owens led all special team players with a game-high three tackles on that side of the ball as the Commanders took down NFC East rival Philadelphia by three points.
