Lady Raiders release spring schedule

LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech women's tennis team has released its 2025 dual season schedule as announced by head coach Adam Herendeen on Monday afternoon. The Lady Raiders will host eight home matches this upcoming spring, with six of those coming against Big 12 opponents.

Tech will begin its season with a trip to Ann Arbor, Mich., for the Michigan Invitational from Jan. 10-12. The team follows with a doubleheader in Lubbock against Xavier and Abilene Christian on Jan. 19. The Lady Raiders are set to compete in ITA Kickoff Weekend for a chance to qualify for the ITA National Indoor Championships in February. At ITA Kickoff Weekend, Texas Tech will face host-team Tennessee on Jan. 24 before playing either NC State or Ohio State the following day.

Next, the Lady Raiders go to Eugene, Ore., for a doubleheader with Oregon and Portland State on Feb. 2. Following this, if qualified, Tech will compete at the ITA National Indoor Championships from Feb. 7-9. The team then travels to Tucson, Ariz., for matches against Arizona, UC Santa Barbara and Princeton from Feb. 14-15.

Tech will begin conference play right after as the Lady Raiders host Kansas on Feb. 28 and Iowa State on March 2. Texas Tech will travel for the next four matches as they take on Utah in Salt Lake City on March 6, BYU in Provo on March 8, TCU in Fort Worth on March 14 and Baylor in Waco on March 16.

The Lady Raiders are back at home as they host Houston on March 21 before welcoming the UCF Knights on March 23. They will head to Boulder, Colo., for a match against the Buffs on March 29. Tech opens April with two away matches – first to Morgantown, W.Va., on April 4 and then to Cincinnati, Ohio on April 6. Tech closes out the regular season with back-to-back home contests against Arizona State on April 11 and against Arizona on April 13. The Big 12 Tournament will be held in Waco from April 16-19, then the NCAA Team Tournament will follow from May 2-18.
