Adeshina joins The Bowerman Watch List

Adeshina has competed in three meets this indoor season
NEW ORLEANS, La. – Freshman high jumper Temitope Adeshina was named to The Bowerman Mid-Indoor Watch List, the organization announced Wednesday afternoon.

Adeshina was one of three freshmen to join the list along with South Carolina's JaMeesia Ford and Washington's Hanna Moll. She also becomes the fourth Tech female to be named to the list, joining Ruth Usoro (2021-22), Monae' Nichols (2021) and Demisha Roswell (2022).

Adeshina holds the NCAAs top high jump mark at 1.96m (6-5) which ranks No. 3 in the world. She registered the mark at the Corky Classic (1/19) and in the process, set a new Tech record. At the moment, the Nigerian owns the top-3 high jump marks for TTU and overall, six of the top-10.

In three competitions this season, Adeshina has bowed out once attempting 1.97m (6-5.50), the Olympic standard for this summer's games in Paris.
