Week one USTFCCCA outdoor rankings revealed

Today marks the first week of the outdoor rankings

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Texas Tech men are ranked 10^th, while the women's team is ranked 16^thin the first USTFCCCA ratings rankings index released Monday afternoon.

Both Red Raider teams have yet to debut a full squad, but that will begin to change this week when Tech competes in the 96^th annual Texas Relays.

Tech has competed in two outdoor meets so far, the Wes Kittley Invite hosted by ACU and this past weekend's Masked Rider Open at home. This past weekend the men's team put up the No. 4 4x100 – ran 39.05 but the altitude conversion (39.17) moves it to No. 4. Meanwhile, the women's side is highlighted so far by a pair of top-5 pole vaulters in Kashlee Dickinson and Makenzie Hayward. Both Red Raiders cleared 4.26m (13- 11 ¾).

Tech's three gold medalists from the NCAA indoor meet are expected to debut this week at Texas Relays. Terrence Jones in the 4x100 and 200m, Caleb Dean in the 110 hurdles and 4x400 and Ruta Lasmane in the triple jump.
