After not being ranked in the first three polls, the Red Raiders checked in at No. 24 in Monday’s PG poll

LUBBOCK, Texas – Ranked as high as No. 14 in the country in the Baseball America poll, the Texas Tech Baseball team is now ranked as a consensus top-25 team in the country, as the Red Raiders ranked in the D1Baseall, Baseball America, NCBWA, USA Today and Perfect Game polls.

The Red Raiders (9-2) are fresh off a perfect 6-0 homestand that included two different three-game sweeps over Texas Southern and Gardner-Webb. Over the six game homestand the Red Raiders hit .430 as a team and outscored the Tigers and Bulldogs, 116-29.

The Red Raiders return to action on Tuesday afternoon when they make the trip to Albuquerque for a midweek contest at New Mexico. First pitch is set for 3 p.m. (CT).
