Week seven USTFCCCA rankings

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Texas Tech track and field teams will be inside the USTFCCCA top-11 entering the 2024 Big 12 Outdoor Championships this week in Waco. The men fell one spot to No. 7, while the women's team stayed at No. 11.

The men enter this week's conference championships as the top-rated men's team as the women go in second behind No. 9 Texas.

Tech, on the men's side, will be seeking their fourth-straight Big 12 title and second-straight outdoors. Meanwhile, the women's team is seeking their first track and field conference title.

This week marks the beginning of a one-month post-season stretch for the Red Raiders. Following conference action, Tech will take a week off before traveling to Fayetteville, Ark., for the NCAA West Preliminaries and then one more week off before going to Eugene, Ore., for the National Championships.

A full preview of the 2024 Big 12 Outdoor Championships will be posted tomorrow on TexasTech.com. The championships will take place Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Clyde Hart Track and Field Stadium.
