TJ Pompey named to CCL Showcase Roster

The Infielder will play in the game on Wednesday (July 17) night at 9 p.m. (CT)
LOS ANGELES – After helping lead his Santa Barbara Foresters squad to a CCL-best 19-8 start, Texas Tech infielder TJ Pompey has been named to the CCL Showcase Roster.
A native of Coppell, Pompey has hit .279 with tow home runs and 13 RBIs through his first 86 at-bats. Pompey has also stolen seven bases and scored 16 runs.

The infielders two home runs are tied for the team lead, while his 13 RBIs are fourth on the Foresters squad this summer.Â

The 2024 CCL Showcase will take place on Wednesday night (July 17). First pitch from MLB Youth Academy in Compton is set for 9 p.m. (CT)/7 p.m. (CT).  Wednesday's showcase will be aired live on the following Bally Sports TV Regional Networks and will also appear on various Bally affiliates  on tape delay over the next week.
