Tech signs Sophie Neves

Neves has enrolled at Tech after spending her freshman season at Alabama
LUBBOCK, Texas –Texas Tech Soccer and head coach Tom Stone have welcomed Alabama transfer Sophie Neves to the 2024-25 Red Raiders squad.
A native of Spanish Fork, Utah, Neves enrolled at Tech earlier this month ahead of the start of the 2025 Spring semester.
Neves played in 16 matches for the Crimson Tide during her freshman campaign and made three starts. Neves played in over 500 minutes during the 2024 season.
A 2023 ECNL Northwest All-Conference First Team selection, Neves also took home First Team UHSAA honors in 2023 after earning second team all-state in 2022. Neves scored 36 goals and tallied 35 assists in her high school career with seven of the goals and 18 of the assists coming during her senior season.
Neves and Texas Tech Soccer have returned to campus for the spring semester and have begun the spring portion of their training.
