Raleigh Greason earns Big 12 Freshman of the Week

The Colorado native scored her first career Big 12 goal Friday
IRVING, Texas – For the first time this season, a Red Raider has earned Big 12 Freshman of the Week, as freshman Raleigh Greason took home Co-Freshman of the Week honors, the league announced Wednesday.
A native of Arvada, Colorado, Greason scored her first career goal and recorded three shots (all on-goal) in the Red Raiders 1-1 tie against No. 17 TCU.
Starting her sixth-straight game (all in Big 12 play), Greason recorded her second career goal and first strike since the season opener at San Diego State.
The shot, a left-footed beauty into the top-left corner, gave the Red Raiders a 1-0 lead and helped extend the programs unbeaten streak against the Frogs to four-straight contests.
No. 12/4 Texas Tech Soccer will return to action on Thursday night at Arizona State. First touch is set for 9 p.m. (CT)/7 p.m. (PT).
