Texas Tech Teams Up With Cotton Kings
March 20, 2000 LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech and the Lubbock Cotton Kings hockey team will join forces to benefit the Tech cheerleaders and dance team Thursday night at the Lubbock Coliseum. The Cotton Kings will be wearing commemorative Texas Tech jerseys when they host Odessa in the final regular-season home game of the season. Following the game, the jerseys will be auctioned, with proceeds going toward the Cheerleaders and Pom Squad National Cheer and Dance Competition Fund.
