Started his Red Raider career with a bang, snagging the individual title at the Carmel Cup with a with 14-under 202 … was named Big 12 Golfer of the Month for the month of September  … posted five under-par rounds in the fall, including a pair of 67's at Pebble Beach, which were the team's low rounds for the fall ... kept that momentum going into the spring by winning the individual title at the Amer Ari Invitational, by going 67-66-67, three of the Red Raiders' 11 best rounds of the season, as Tech took the team title. Nilehn's 54-hole score of 200 at the Amer Ari is a school record. ... Nilehn finished the season with a scoring average of 72.33, the ninth-best in school history ...
