Mary Stephens

Mary Stephens enters her second year on the Red Raider softball staff in 2018-19 after being promoted to volunteer assistant coach in October. She previously served as a graduate manager upon her arrival in Lubbock in August of 2017.Â
A native of Sachse, Texas, Stephens started 207 games in her career at Missouri State, where she graduated in 2017 with a degree in Park, Sport and Rec Administration in 2017. She is currently pursuing her master’s in Sport Management at Tech.

She received numerous accolades during her playing career, including a NFCA National Player of the Week award which was the first in Missouri State history. The first baseman was also tabbed All-Missouri Valley Conference Second Team her freshman season and MVC All-Tournament Team her sophomore year.
