Texas Tech Men Finish 13th at Pre-Nationals

Bloomington Ind. - Running in their final meet before the conference championships, the Texas Tech men's cross country team finished 13th out of 17 teams. Boniface Ndungu finished the 8,000 kilometer race in a time of 25:50 as the men scored a total of 292 points in the "B" division of the Pre-National meet in Bloomington, Ind.

David Leigh was the second Tech finisher, coming in 77th out of 177 in a time of 27:06. Rounding out the scoring for Tech was Smason Ngetich (92nd, 27:19), Jesse Williams (109th, 27:37) and Chris Thomas (127th, 28:13).

Up next for the men will be the Big 12 Championships to be held in College Station on October 30.
